It blows my mind that he literally paid tuition for all of us to go to city schools. There were five of us. And he paid for dance.
I'll never forget, he finally got to come to one of my track meets. He never got to come because he was always working.
I ran relay. The girl in front of me didn't go when she was supposed to and I ate it. Fell and hit my face. But even though I was embarrassed and mad, I was glad he was there.
